Best HR Performance – Healthcare, Pharma & Life Sciences

This award recognises HR teams operating within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, and life sciences sectors that have demonstrated outstanding workforce performance and people leadership over the past 12 months. The judges will want to see a comprehensive approach to HR, including workforce planning, recruitment and retention, employee wellbeing, engagement, capability development, and leadership. Entry is by a 5-page A4 PDF submission; the judges will be looking for clear information backed up by facts that pays particular attention to the criteria listed below.

• Background: Please provide an overview of the organisation and workforce, including size, structure, and healthcare services delivered. Outline the role of the HR function and its overall people strategy, demonstrating how it supports workforce performance and organisational objectives.
• Key Initiatives & Challenges: Please outline the key HR initiatives implemented over the past 12 months. This may include recruitment and retention strategies, talent development, employee engagement programmes, or wellbeing initiatives.
• Collaboration: Describe how collaboration between HR, leadership teams, frontline staff, and wider business functions contributed to improved workforce outcomes.
• Outcomes & Results: Highlight the outcomes of your HR initiatives, providing evidence of how they have improved workforce performance and organisational effectiveness.
• Supporting Statements & Testimonials: Please include any additional statements or evidence that support your entry, such as employee feedback, testimonials, survey results, external recognition, or other supporting facts demonstrating the impact of your HR initiatives.
