Asticom and Workday partner to deliver AI-powered HR platform to Philippine businesses

Globe Telecom-backed Philippine IT services company Asticom Holding Co. Inc. has entered a partnership with US-based enterprise software company Workday to make AI-powered human resources and finance management solutions more widely available to businesses across the Philippines, in a development that broadens access to enterprise-grade HR technology in one of Southeast Asia's largest labour markets.

The Daily Tribune reported that the agreement was signed in Taguig City by Mharicar Castillo-Reyes, president and CEO of Asticom, and Jess O'Reilly, ASEAN general manager of Workday, and will see Asticom's IT-BPO arm, Asti Business Services Inc., lead local implementation of Workday solutions alongside systems integration and digital transformation services.

The partnership gives Philippine organisations access to Workday's Human Capital Management (HCM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform, which combines HR and finance management with AI-driven capabilities designed to automate routine tasks, generate workforce insights, and support business decision-making.

Castillo-Reyes said the agreement advances Asticom's goal of strengthening its enterprise service portfolio. She said: "We are pleased to share this collaboration as we continue to strengthen our portfolio of world-class services and solutions, continuously fulfilling our mission of helping businesses grow and thrive in an increasingly digital business landscape."

O'Reilly said the partnership responds to growing demand for intelligent enterprise solutions in the Philippines. We are excited to collaborate with Asticom to bring our world-class HCM and finance standards to more local organizations."

Workday currently counts more than 11,500 customers globally. Asticom is a wholly owned subsidiary of Globe Telecom and part of the Ayala group, providing talent, HR, customer experience, IT, finance, and engineering services to more than 200 clients and employing over 4,000 professionals nationwide.

For HR practitioners and technology decision-makers, the Asticom-Workday partnership reflects a broader pattern of global HCM platform vendors expanding their reach in emerging markets through local implementation partners.
