Auditocity raises $2M to modernise HR compliance with AI-driven platform

Auditocity, a woman- and minority-owned HR technology company founded by Dr Gia Wiggins, has raised $2 million in seed funding to accelerate nationwide growth and expand its AI-driven HR compliance platform. The company was created to replace manual, spreadsheet-based audits with an intelligent, centralised system that provides real-time insights, risk detection, and compliance clarity for organisations of all sizes.

Built on nearly three decades of HR leadership experience, Auditocity empowers HR teams and business leaders to manage compliance proactively. The platform is designed to catch issues early, support faster decision-making, and maintain transparency across operations. By combining HR expertise with SaaS scalability and AI tools, Auditocity streamlines complex compliance workflows and helps organisations respond swiftly to emerging risks.

The new funding will support the launch of enterprise and consulting editions of the platform and introduce features including full 50-state compliance coverage, multi-client management, AI-powered analytics, issue complexity scoring, and an educational hub, Auditocity University. These enhancements aim to make compliance less about fear and more about empowerment, enabling HR teams to focus on building healthier, more transparent workplaces.

Based in Alabama, Auditocity is expanding nationwide with backing from Halogen Ventures, Techstars, Innovate Alabama, and angel investors Barkin Holdings and Merchants Transfer Company. The company also partners with leading HR platforms Paycor, Paylocity, and UKG, extending its reach and allowing seamless integration into existing HR systems.

Dr Wiggins emphasises that Auditocity’s mission is to transform compliance into an empowering process. “Our goal is to help HR professionals and leaders see what’s happening in real time, catch issues early, take action faster, and build healthier, more transparent workplaces,” she said.
