Comply acquires Trailight to streamline HR and compliance in Ireland

Comply, a leading provider of regulatory and compliance technology for financial firms, has completed its acquisition of Trailight, the UK specialist in conduct risk, competence frameworks, and accountability management. The acquisition establishes Ireland’s first fully integrated platform linking employee and firm compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

The unified platform allows Irish firms to manage regulatory oversight comprehensively, covering risk assessment, governance mapping, personal account dealing, supervision, and compliance calendars through a single scalable cloud-based system. By connecting these processes, HR and compliance teams can streamline operations, reduce manual workload, and improve transparency across employees and management.

The platform enables advanced functionality for Statements of Responsibilities, Fit & Proper assessments, Reasonable Steps documentation, and governance mapping, supporting HR leaders in aligning people management with regulatory obligations.

Trailight clients benefit from enterprise-grade features in employee compliance, such as automated attestations, personal account dealing, tracking of gifts and entertainment, and outside business interest management.
