Galaxy Entertainment strengthens governance as revenue rises

Galaxy Entertainment Group has appointed Chong Wai Sang as company secretary and authorised representative, bringing legal and compliance expertise from his background in Hong Kong-listed firms. He succeeds Jenifer Sin, who retires after a long tenure with the group.

The leadership shift comes as GEG reported strong H1 performance, with net revenue climbing 8.3% year-on-year to HK$23.2bn (US$2.96bn) and EBITDA rising 14% to HK$6.9bn (US$881m). Gaming revenue surged 10.7% while non-gaming business posted steady growth.
