HR Path has acquired ModusForce, a UK-based Dayforce consultancy, giving HR technology buyers across the UK and Ireland deeper access to specialist HCM, payroll and workforce management expertise as HR Path consolidates its regional coverage.

HR Path, founded in 2001, is a French global HR consulting and HRIS firm operating in 34 countries with around 2,900 staff, specialising in advisory, implementation and operational HR services.

ModusForce is a UK-based Dayforce consultancy specialising in Dayforce HCM, payroll and workforce management, offering advisory, implementation, change, optimisation and managed support services to help clients maximise the value of their platform investment.

The strategic logic buys established Dayforce delivery expertise rather than building it internally, letting HR Path immediately serve clients running Dayforce rather than only Workday or UKG platforms, closing a capability gap that would otherwise take years to develop organically.

The structural driver is a deliberate, sequential UK and Ireland buying spree, following Three Plus Consulting, a Workday specialist, in 2024, Northern Ireland-based IntSys in 2025 and Eaton Square, a consultancy spanning Dayforce, UKG, Workday, Access, HiBob, Sage and Microsoft, also in 2025. Together these moves give HR Path multi-platform delivery capability across the region rather than dependence on a single HR technology vendor.

Chris Howarth, a partner at HR Path, said the acquisition is not just about growth but also synergy, innovation and a shared commitment to excellence, framing the deal as complementary to HR Path's broader consulting ambitions rather than a standalone bolt-on. HR Path has said the acquisition marks a significant milestone in reinforcing its leadership position in the HR industry and expanding its footprint across the UK and Ireland.

For the sector, the deal signals that HR technology consultancies remain an active consolidation target, as buyers assemble multi-platform expertise across Dayforce, Workday and UKG rather than specialising in one system. HR and IT buyers evaluating implementation partners should expect continued consolidation toward fewer, larger consultancies capable of covering multiple platforms, reducing the need to manage separate vendor relationships for each HR system in use.
