Irish renewable energy company Ohk Energy has announced the creation of 60 new roles across Ireland as part of its continued nationwide expansion, positioning itself as one of the country's most active employers in the growing renewable energy sector. The recruitment drive carries direct relevance for HR and talent professionals working across construction, energy, and skilled trades pipelines.

Dublin Live reported that the company is seeking to hire electricians, roofers, heat pump installers and service engineers, commercial sales representatives, and trade assistants, with opportunities available immediately across several departments and regions nationwide.

Ciara King, director of HR, recruitment and training at Ohk Energy, said: "What we're offering is more than just another job. We're offering long-term career security in one of Ireland's fastest-growing industries, backed by a company with real scale, stability and ambition."

King added that for tradespeople, consistency matters, citing steady work, reliable pay, investment in training, strong systems, and company growth as key factors in attracting and retaining skilled talent in the current market.

Ohk Energy is also actively targeting skilled Irish nationals abroad, encouraging qualified tradespeople considering a return home to apply directly. The appeal reflects broader challenges facing Irish employers in sourcing skilled trades talent domestically, particularly as the renewable energy and retrofit sectors scale rapidly.

King noted that the industry is evolving quickly and that Ohk Energy is investing heavily in technology, systems, and people, stating that renewable energy represents the future of long-term skilled employment in Ireland.

The company describes its investment in people, technology, and long-term infrastructure as central to its position as an employer of choice in Ireland's renewable energy market.
