Workday has appointed HR Path as an authorised value-added reseller for the UK and Ireland, enabling the HR technology vendor to extend direct access to its enterprise HR, finance, and AI platform to small and medium-sized businesses across Ireland and Scotland through a single local partner relationship.
ITPro reported that the agreement will see HR Path sell Workday solutions directly to SMBs in both markets, as well as provide consulting, implementation, and long-term operational support throughout the customer lifecycle. The partnership forms part of Workday's ongoing VAR ecosystem expansion across EMEA.
Under the model, HR Path will act as a single point of contact for clients, managing strategic advisory, software procurement, implementation, and ongoing optimisation. Workday said the approach is designed to help growing organisations adopt enterprise-grade HR, finance, and AI capabilities while simplifying complex digital transformation projects through one trusted partner relationship.
Daniel Pell, vice president and country manager for the UK and Ireland at Workday, said the partnership is structured to accelerate time to value for customers. He said: "HR Path brings deep local experience and hands-on delivery, Workday brings a secure, AI-powered platform, and together, we can give customers one trusted route to modernising their HR and finance functions."
Angelo Gallo, partner at HR Path, described the VAR model as a natural progression for the firm's SMB offering. He said: "Our strength lies in combining world-class technology with local market knowledge and hands-on execution. Together with Workday, we are creating an offering that delivers greater guidance, security, and trust throughout the entire transformation process."
To support the expanded partnership, HR Path said it is investing in consultant training, Workday certifications, and joint enablement programmes to provide earlier access to new AI capabilities and product developments as they are released.
The announcement marks the latest stage of Workday's shift away from a purely direct sales model toward a hybrid go-to-market approach, at a time when demand for AI-powered workforce and finance management tools continues to grow across the SMB segment. Regional VAR partners are intended to combine localised implementation expertise with Workday's platform, enabling compliance with local regulatory requirements alongside deployment of advanced AI capabilities.
