In 2024, Ireland hit a record low for work-related fatalities, with the rate dropping from 2.7 per 100,000 workers in 2015 to just 1.2. This significant reduction — nearly 25% fewer deaths compared to 2023 — highlights a positive trend in workplace safety, particularly in high-risk sectors like construction and agriculture.
